When you travel to Davao,
there’s no shortage of activities or places you can go. Our guests told us that they enjoyed their travel in
Davao City so much that 3 or 4 days was not enough cover all the attractions
the city has to offer. My uncle, who
lives in Manila, has been going back and forth for years and he swears that every
time he comes back to Davao to travel, it’s like it’s his first time and he
falls in love with the place all over.

In this post, I’ll try to
cover all the attractions in Davao. Traveling
to a foreign place can sometimes overwhelm us, especially if we don’t have any
idea where to go to maximize our time. I’ll
list down all the attractions by category (Outdoor Tour, Davao Travel & Adventure, and Shopping)
and give a short description of what to expect for each destination (I’ll cover
each destination in depth on my next post).

you might like- Davao Travel & Adventure:

In 1991 I witnessed how
Cebu was booming in terms of new and huge malls opening to the public. I traveled Cebu quite extensively since I
went to college there. I wondered, “When
will this ever happen to Davao?”. Two
years ago, as my friend and I went for a leisure tour, we noticed that there
were a lot of huge malls, hotels, and whatnot, being constructed or just finished
construction in Davao City. I said to
myself, “What was happening to Cebu a few years ago, is now happening to Davao
– Davao is BOOMING!”. Which got us very
excited, because now there’s more opportunities to earn a living for most
Davaoenos (and for a few, make a fortune).
Which brings me to the
last, but most loved activity of almost everyone (no, it’s not traveling) -
shopping. Here are a few places you can
go shopping when you travel to Davao:
- Aldevinco Shopping Center
- SM City of Davao
- SMX Lanang
- Abreeza Mall
- Gaisano Mall of Davao
- NCCC Mall of Davao
On my next post, I will cover
each attraction in depth to give you more information that might be useful for
you when you travel to Davao in the future.

PS. I just noticed the numbering (up to 6th lng), I think you can edit it. :)
Hi Red,
DeleteThank you! I just changed it from 42 to 43 things to do. And used bullets instead of numbers to help readers when they scan visually. You think this works?
Again, thanks for the feedback! :-)
Best regards
